Armadillo Readers’ Choice Winner 2017
Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade students read all 10 Armadillo Readers’ Choice books in the library this year, and last week, each student cast their vote on a Google form! It was exciting to see how each class and each grade level voted!
Kindergarten students chose Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor as their favorite.
First Grade students had a tie between Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor and Glow: Animals with Their Own Night-lights by W.H. Beck as their favorite.
Second Grade students chose Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise by Sean Taylor as their favorite.

Author Bridget Heos visits PreK-2nd graders
Author Bridget Heos visited our PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students this week! She shared with us about her writing process, and our students enjoyed acting in a Readers’ Theater performance with Ms. Heos!

Here’s how to enter this giveaway:
1. Visit the England Library blog between now and when the contest closes (Sunday evening, July 20th).
2. Write a comment on THIS post. Your comment should include your FIRST NAME, LAST INITIAL, what GRADE you’re going to be in NEXT year, and a message for Mrs. Kupersztoch! Do not leave any other personal information in your comment! Do not post your e-mail address. Only one entry per student will be accepted, and only England Elementary students are eligible to participate. Every comment has to be approved in order to appear on the website, so if you don’t see your comment right away, don’t worry!
3. After the contest closes, I will choose a comment at random and that student will receive the giveaway prize! The winner will be announced as an update at the top of this post and the prize book will be waiting for the winning student in August!
Armadillo Readers’ Choice Winner 2014

First Grade students chose The Incredible Life of Balto by Meghan McCarthy as their favorite.
Second Grade students had a tie between Dog Loves Drawing by Louise Yates and The Watcher by Jeanette Winter as their favorite.
